6 weeks backpacking in Thailand

6 weeks condensed into just a few lines is hard. First stop was Khaosan Road, Bangkok. All backpacking adventures have to start there! Then we flew (because it was cheap and we were lazy) to Koh Samui where we stayed for a while. Next up was Full Moon Party at Hat Rin, Ko Pha-ngan. That’s just something to experience!

From Ko Pha-ngan we then travelled to Ao Nang on the west side of Thailand. A very popular place for tourists to go and I can understand why. Then we went to the Phi-phi Islands for a while and then onto Khao Lak. From Khao Lak we went to the Similan Islands and stayed a couple of nights in this more or less paradise.

Last move we made was north to Khao Sok National Park where we explored some caves before heading back to Bangkok again. From Bangkok we went to Erawan National Park (waterfalls) over the day, and then it was time to fly back home again.

In loving memory of Henrik.
